What we collect

• This website. The site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising tags. Our hosting provider processes the technical data every website receives, such as IP addresses, to deliver and protect the site.
• When you contact us. Your name, contact details and what you send us, by email or phone. Some calls are recorded and transcribed, only where the law allows it and with notice where the law requires it.
• When you apply for a job. Your application and CV, your contact details, and our notes from reviewing it and from any interview.
• Business contacts. For investors, partners, suppliers and candidates: contact details, our correspondence, and professional information from you, from people who introduce us, or from public sources such as company websites and professional profiles.
• Platforms. When you interact with accounts we run on platforms such as LinkedIn, we receive what the platform shares with account owners, such as your name and your comment.

How we use it

To reply to you and keep our correspondence; to assess applications and hire; to manage our relationships with investors, partners and suppliers; to run our accounts on platforms; and to keep our systems secure and meet our legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.

Software does the work

Daemon Ventures runs on software. Messages, calls and applications are read and handled by AI systems we operate, which use AI model providers to process the content on our behalf. Hiring decisions are made by a person.

Who we share it with

• Service providers that work for us, such as hosting, email, telephone, AI processing, accounting and banking. They may use it only to provide their service to us.
• Platforms, when you interact with us on them. Their own privacy policies apply.
• Advisers, investors or a buyer, under confidentiality, when needed for a financing, merger or sale.
• Authorities, when the law requires it, or to protect rights and safety.

We do not share phone numbers or text-message consent with anyone for their own marketing.

How long we keep it

As long as we need it for the purposes above, and as business records for legal, tax and accounting reasons. Information we receive from LinkedIn is kept only as long as LinkedIn’s rules allow: comments for no more than 48 hours, and profile details for no more than 24 hours.

Your choices

Write to [email protected] to see the information we hold about you, correct it, or ask us to delete it. We reply within 30 days. If we have to keep something for legal reasons or as a necessary business record, we will tell you what and why.

Security

We limit access to the systems that hold personal information and use encrypted connections. No system is perfectly secure.

Children

Our website and services are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Do Not Track

Our website does not track visitors, so a browser’s Do Not Track signal has nothing to switch off.

Where information is processed

We are a US company and our servers are in the United States. Our service providers may process information in other countries.

Changes

We will post any change here with a new date. If a change is significant, we will say so at the top of this page.
